Homework - Next reading assignment and journal entry for American Born Chinese is due Wednesday.  Be ready to share in class and submit the journal entry in Canvas.  Read pages 85-160.

Tuesday - Oedipus essay introduction and mise-en-scene mini lesson.

Thursday - Double Indemnity.

Homework - 1.) Next reading assignment and journal entry for American Born Chinese is due Monday.  Be ready to share in class and submit the journal entry in Canvas.  Finish the book.  2.) After each viewing of Double Indemnity, review the clips from the "READ" folder from that day's viewing and take a still image of a meaningful shot.  Annotate it in any app that works for you (maybe UPad, for example) and keep a record of these still images.  We'll call this your "Double Indemnity viewing journal."  Be ready to share your images when we finish the film early next week.
